Kwanamo Well

About

Hello, I'm Mollyn.

Welcome to Kwanamo Well. I'm so glad you're here.

I started this little corner of the internet because I kept noticing the same thing: the moments when I felt most like myself were rarely the busy ones. They were early mornings by a campfire, the bracing seconds of cold water, the slow quiet of a warm sauna.

I live in North Texas with my son, and whenever I can, I'm outside, usually somewhere with tall trees and no cell signal.

What I believe about wellness

I don't think wellness is a trend or a product. I think it is a rhythm: rest and effort, warmth and cold, time with people and time alone. As a Christian, I believe our bodies are a gift, and caring for them is one small way of saying thank you. My faith shapes how I think about rest: not something I have to earn, but something I'm invited into.

What you'll find here

I read the studies so you don't have to, and I always link my sources. When I recommend a product, it's because it serves the purpose, not the other way around. Products will change over the years; the purpose won't.

A gentle reminder: I'm not a doctor, and nothing here replaces advice from one. Please check with your healthcare provider before trying cold or heat exposure.

The Kwanamo name also carries my relocation project at relocation.kwanamo.com.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord (Jeremiah 29:11). Thank you for reading. Pull up a chair by the fire.
